Voice Journal works without an account, and your journal lives on your device. You only have an account if you chose to sign in for backup and sync. Here is how to delete it.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
Open Voice Journal → Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm. This permanently deletes your account and every entry backed up to our servers.
Request deletion by email
If you can’t open the app, email kumararmjp@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll confirm and complete the deletion.
What is deleted
- Your account identifier (the email/ID from your sign-in provider).
- Every journal entry synced to our servers (text, mood, tags, location, dates).
What stays on your device: the journal on your phone — including audio and photos, which never sync — is not affected, and the app keeps working without an account. To remove on-device data too, delete entries in the app or uninstall it.
Retention: synced data is removed promptly on deletion and is not retained afterward, except where the law requires us to keep limited records.
