1. What Voice Journal is

Voice Journal (the “App”) is a personal journaling app developed by BitFuzed (“we”, “us”). It lets you record spoken entries, have them transcribed and organized, and optionally converse with an AI assistant about your own past entries. By using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your journal belongs to you

You own the content you create — recordings, transcripts, photos, and notes. We claim no rights over it, do not sell it, and do not use it to train AI models. Your entries are stored on your device; if you enable optional sign-in and sync, you grant us permission to store your synced entry text solely to provide backup and cross-device access.

3. Accounts

An account is not required. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account, which removes your synced data from our servers.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Core journaling and transcription are free.
• Journal Pro adds capacity such as more daily AI conversations. Prices are shown in the App in your local currency and billed through Google Play.
• Plans auto-renew until cancelled. Cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Where a free trial applies, we send a reminder before it converts.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play’s refund policy.

5. The AI assistant is not advice

Transcription and AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors. The App’s AI reflects on your own words — it is not a medical device, therapy, or professional advice of any kind. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services.

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use the App to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to our services. Fair-use limits apply to AI features to keep the service healthy for everyone.

7. Availability & changes

AI transcription and chat depend on third-party providers and network availability and are provided “as is”, without warranties. Your locally stored journal stays accessible on your device even when online features are unavailable. We may update, add, or remove features; material changes to paid features will be communicated in the App.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
